RapidSort® Awards
RapidSort® won the 1999 Plastics and Chemicals Industry Association Innovation Award. Other finalists included Amcor PET Technologies, Coca-Cola Amatil, and Nylex. The Judging Panel consisted of representatives from industry, government and academia, and the judging criteria for the award were:

- Current or potential commercial success
- Product design
- Benefit to the community
- Safety and environment considerations
